MIAMI, FL — Three Girl Scout councils (Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, and Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore) have teamed up to launch an original Girl Scouts anthem, music video, and dance that highlight the creativity, leadership, and sisterhood of today’s Girl Scouts.
The anthem debuts Thursday (September 18) followed by the music video release Friday (September 19), and fi nally the dance choreography launch on National Dance Day (September 20). This three-day rollout represents the culmination of nearly a year of collaboration with Eyes On Your Mission (EOYM), a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofi t, and its Filmmaking For Good academy. Through this program, twenty-six Girl Scouts across three states worked virtually with producer and university professor Dr. Jessica Kizorek to create original media that refl ects their own experiences as Scouts.
“Girl Scouts are natural storytellers,” said Dr. Kizorek, Executive Director of EOYM. “This project gave them the chance to write, sing, and perform an anthem that truly captures what it means to be a Girl Scout today: Confi dent, creative, and ready to make a diff erence.” As a specialist in teaching college students how to create media and use artifi cial intelligence, Dr.
Kizorek used experience gained at Florida International University to craft a custom-curriculum for the special perspective and range of age groups (Aged 10-15) represented in the Girl Scouts continuum.

Friday, Sept. 19 – Music Video Premiere

Saturday, Sept. 20 – National Dance Day
The debut of an original, two-person dance routine that reinforces teamwork and invites Scouts, alumnae, and families nationwide to join in.
The project not only gave participants hands-on experience in fi lmmaking, but also represents a turnkey national campaign opportunity for Girl Scouts USA. With the right amplifi cation, the anthem and dance could become a viral social media challenge; encouraging alumni, infl uencers, and councils nationwide to join in, remix, and celebrate the movement. Participants earned a custom Filmmaking For Good fun patch, symbolizing their commitment to storytelling, teamwork, and the Girl Scout spirit. “This project shows what’s possible when girls are given the tools to tell their own stories,” said Theresa Moody of GSTF. “We hope this anthem inspires girls everywhere to raise their voices, move with confi dence, and show the world what we can do together as a community!”
To spark even greater engagement, the release also launches the #GirlScoutDance Challenge. Scouts, alumnae, families, and friends are encouraged to fi nd a partner, learn the routine, and share their performance on social media using the campaign hashtag. The anthem will also be uploaded to Instagram as an original track, making it easy to create and post videos directly on the platform. By joining in, participants help spread the spirit of Girl Scouting…showing how music, movement, and creativity can unite communities nationwide.
