Our camp program offerings include exciting new activities and opportunities for campers to have elevated adventures year after year! Campers can explore camp to the fullest as they engage with our traditional or themed camp activities tailored to their unique age level, experience, and choices when they get to camp!
All levels of programming offer the opportunity to participate in activities like swimming at the pool, archery, STEAM activities, arts & crafts, outdoor sports, trust & initiative activities, and cookout.

Leadership Program Offerings

Our multi-week Counselor-in Training (CIT) program is designed just for you! At Camp Conowingo, we believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, and our CIT program is the perfect stepping stone for girls who are enthusiastic about becoming future camp staff members. This transformative experience offers young women in high school the opportunity to gain hands-on leadership experience, build self-confidence, and foster teamwork, all while being immersed in the beauty of the great outdoors.
As a CIT, you will:
- Learn Leadership Skills
Through mentorship and training, you will develop essential leadership skills that will serve you well in any future endeavor.
- Assist Counselors
You’ll work alongside experienced camp counselors, gaining real-world experience in leading activities, group management, and camper engagement.
- Build Lifelong Friendships
Forge deep connections with fellow CITs and campers and create lasting memories and friendships that will stay with you for years to come.
- Embrace Nature
Enjoy the stunning natural surroundings of Camp Conowingo while honing your outdoor skills and knowledge.
- Grow as an Individual
Develop personal growth, self-reliance, and problem-solving abilities through a variety of camp activities and challenges.

We will talk about all things summer camp at Camp Conowingo: registration, daily life, camp mail, trading post, staff, and so much more! Open House
When: Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th from 11AM-3 PM
Where: Camp Conowingo
Join us for our Summer Camp Open House! Campers and their families or caregivers are invited to visit camp on either Saturday or Sunday to explore the grounds, take a self-guided tour, meet our Outdoor Experience Director, and ask any questions as you prepare for Summer 2026. We’re excited to welcome you and help you get to know camp!
