Camp Whippoorwill has been a favorite of Girl Scout troops for almost eighty years. It is located in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, is situated on a 19.80 acre parcel off of Lake Shore Drive. The Property has approximately 800 feet of water frontage on the Magothy River and is largely wooded.
A private road provides access to the camp from Lake Shore Drive to the middle point of the camp. The Property has several structures including a main lodge, a house near Lake Shore Drive, a boat house, storage sheds, several camping structures, and recreational improvements throughout the camp.
At the waterfront, there is a swimming beach and a recreational pier which is mainly utilized for canoe and kayak launching. Located on the Magothy River in Pasadena, Maryland, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay, this 19 acre wooded site has much to offer.
