Trucks will be delivering thousands of cases of Girl Scout Cookies to Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (GSCM) headquarters signaling the official countdown to Cookie Booth sales, which kick off February 6 at locations across central Maryland. Hundreds of local Girl Scouts will soon be out in their communities running their own small businesses, gaining real-world leadership experience, and offering the classic cookies customers love. This year’s line-up includes beloved favorites: Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, Adventurefuls, Lemonades, Trefoils, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and the *gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies. New for the 2026 season is Exploremores™, a rocky road inspired sandwich cookie blending chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond–flavored crème. Early feedback suggests it will quickly become a fan favorite.
Cookies are priced at $6 a box (*the gluten free Caramel Chocolate Chip is $7). Every purchase directly supports local Girl Scouts, funding hands-on experiences like community service projects, troop travel and summer camp adventures. Cookie Booths will be open February 6th through March 29th, 2026. Customers can find cookie booths by using the Girl Scout Cookie Finder here: https://www.gscm.org/en/cookies.html.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program® is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. Through the cookie program Girl Scouts develop important life and business skills that include goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics—skills that serve them for life. From a curious kindergartener who is amazed by the array of fish at the aquarium, to a middle schooler finding the courage to go rappelling, the cookie program fuels meaningful growth and exploration for girls at every level. Because all proceeds stay local, every box sold powers year-round opportunities for Girl Scouts across central Maryland.
Every cookie purchase fuels a dream –and some also fuel a community. Through the Cookies from the Heart donation program, customers can purchase cookies that are then donated to food pantries, hometown heroes, military personnel and first responders. Last year nearly 13,000 packages were donated through the Cookies from the Heart program. “This is what makes the cookie sale so meaningful,” said GSCM CEO Jenny Trostel. In addition to serving customers, the cookie program provides donations to organizations and individuals who are making an impact in their communities, including military personnel, first responders and local food pantries. The cookie program allows girls to build essential business skills while supporting those in need—demonstrating how every purchase helps Girl Scouts make the world better--and sweeter--one box of cookies at a time.”
