Get ready to race! Join us for our Girl Scout Powderpuff Derby, a fun-filled pinewood derby event where Girl Scouts, along with their family and friends, design, build, and race their very own cars. This exciting event encourages creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition! Awards will be presented for both speed and design, with categories recognizing creativity, craftsmanship, and overall performance. Whether you're racing for the win or showcasing a one-of-a-kind design, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Come cheer on the racers and celebrate the ingenuity and spirit of our Girl Scouts-it's sure to be a day full of excitement, laughter, and memorable moments!
Optional: The journey begins on April 25, 2026, at our Car Cutting and Design Day, where participants will shape and decorate their derby cars. It is not mandatory to attend, however, if interested, when you register for the event, you will receive information on participation.
Cost: $27.00 for Girl Scouts; no cost for attending volunteers and parents/caregivers
