Embark on a global adventure right here at Camp Conowingo at our GSCM Annual Camp Summit! This weekend, dive into the vibrant cultures of our world as you journey from the colorful festivals of Asia to the rich traditions of Europe and the authentic celebrations of North America- and beyond! Take on the lens of the anthropologist, and explore diverse cultures through hands-on experiences and exciting discoveries.
As you navigate this cultural expedition, you'll unlock new skills, create stunning art, and connect with fellow Girl Scouts from Central Maryland and beyond. Together, you'll embrace the beauty of our world, participating in service projects that honor and celebrate unique traditions from every corner of the globe. Get ready to explore, connect, and take action in a weekend of unforgettable global exploration!
Event Includes:
- Four meals provided (Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided, Sunday breakfast provided; please eat dinner prior to arriving on Friday)
- A stay in one of our unit structures (yurts, teepees, glen shelters, or tents)
- Program supplies
- Program patch
This is NOT a drop off event; a registered supervising adult is required for each participating child. Activities will be available as weather and age level allows.
