Maryland Girl Scout Legislative Day

Legislative Day takes place in February. It is an opportunity for girls ages 11-17 to explore downtown Annapolis and Maryland’s government.  They will have the opportunity to meet their legislators, observe House and Senate Committee Hearings, and hear from legislatative pages.

World Thinking Day

Each year on February 22, Girl Scouts participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries. It is a special day in the Girl Scout year when we remember we are part of a worldwide movement.

Girl Scouts’ Birthday

On March 12th Girl Scouts across the nation celebrate the founding of an organization begun by Juliette Gordon Low to empower girls and women.

Distinguished Women’s Award Celebration

The Annual Camp Summit

Come join us at the annual Jamboree at the beautiful rustic Camp Conowingo. At the Jamboree girls will DISCOVER art, culture and outdoor activities, CONNECT with other Girl Scouts from central Maryland and surrounding councils, and TAKE ACTION through service projects in this action packed weekend.   Bring your own tent, or stay in the units at beautiful, rustic Camp Conowingo (as space allows). This event is open to Brownies through Cadettes. Think you are too old to participate in this event? Then come out and volunteer! It will be a fun-filled weekend you will always remember.
