About our Camp Programs

Whether you’re a first-time camper or a veteran seeking new adventures, you’ll find fun, friendship and memories to last a lifetime! NEW this summer we will be offering overnight, day and virtual camps! Each camp offers a wide variety of options for girls that include themed specialty activities, as well as, traditional camp activities. Girl Scout Camps feature unique leadership opportunities where girls build 21st century life skills that help them become leaders of tomorrow. They discover how to be independent and self-reliant, connect with others individually and as a team, and learn ways to take action to protect the planet’s natural resources.

Resident Camp

Girl Scouts’ days will be split into sessions with girls rotating through activities in groups. In addition to experiencing her program themed activities, every girl will have the opportunity to experience core camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, campfires, nature exploration and more. Each camper will be sent home with information detailing badge and Journey-related activities completed during the week. To view the Resident Camp sessions, click here.

Day Camps

At Day Camp, campers will rotate through traditional Girl Scout activity sessions as a group. Campers will get an opportunity to try something new, challenge themselves, and meet new friends all while having a blast! Campers participating in one of our Day Camp options will have four weeks from which to choose – two (2) weeks at Camp Conowingo, one (1) week at Camp Whippoorwill and one (1) week at Camp Woodlands. Each camper will be sent home with information about badge and Journey-related activities she completed during the week!

Information Sessions

Have questions about camp at Camp Conowingo? Join us for a camp preview, where we will discuss camp and share helpful hints to make campers’ experiences more enjoyable. This is the time for you to ask questions and get special sneak peeks. Staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you pick the perfect camp session(s).

Camp Chats

Join us for these live Camp Chats, hosted by Camp Director, Alaina “Firefly” Reeves. Each chat covers a different topic relevant to both new and returning campers. Topics include: what to pack, how to pack, preventing homesickness, ways to keep in touch with your camper, what a week at camp is like and Camp Conowingo traditions. Episodes will be hosted on Zoom, starting March 17th and broadcasting live on Thursday evening, every other week until May 12th. 

We Need Your Input! We will be designing each episode around different topics that you and your camper think are important, so shoot Alaina “Firefly” Reeves an email with any questions or concerns you may have about Summer Resident Camp at camp@gscm.org

Camp Open House

Girls Grades K-12

Come out to Conowingo this Father’s Day and enjoy summer activities while you learn about camp! You will have an opportunity to take a tour of camp, meet the staff, and enjoy the rockwall, pool, horses, archery, arts and crafts, hamburgers, hot dogs and more!

June 19, 2022 noon to 5pm

$5.00 per person except dads, who get in free!

Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

Girls Grades 1-5

This is an opportunity for daughters and moms (or favorite female role models) to experience an overnight camp together. Come meet the camp staff, see the facilities and experience fun camp activities including slingshots, STEM, crafts, nature, swimming, campfire, songs, and s’mores! Every participant will receive a t-shirt, a Camp Conowingo Resident Camp patch and a year rocker. Camp Conowingo trained staff will provide all activities and meals. Moms (or female guardians) will provide around the clock supervision of their own girls.

June 25-26, 2022

$85 per person
