Facilities

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland has several properties that can be used for meetings, trainings, troop camping, resident and day camping, and various outdoor education opportunities. Our properties are also available to non-Girl Scout groups and can be used for parties, weddings, business or family retreats, seminars and much more. Camp Conowingo

Camp Conowingo, located at 46 Camp Shadowbrook Road, Conowingo, MD, is 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. The property is composed of nine parcels including Bell Manor, a historic Victorian home from the 1860s that has been renovated to return to its original 1867 charm.  Camp Conowingo is the home base of GSCM’s summer resident camp program.  Click here to learn more about our resident camp program.

Camp Ilchester

Camp Ilchester, located at 5042 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City, MD, provides multiple opportunities for program activities, camping and meetings.  This 19-acre site is home to the Clementine Peterson Activity Center, the perfect venue for meetings, seminars, training and indoor programs with its large meeting rooms and commercial kitchen. Camp Ilchester is also home to the council's satellite Girl Scout store Clementine's Corner.

Camp Whippoorwill

Camp Whippoorwill, located at 524 Lake Shore Drive, Pasadena, MD, has been a favorite of Girl Scout troops for almost eighty years. Located on the Magothy River, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay, this 19-acre wooded site has much to offer.

Camp Woodlands

Camp Woodlands, located at 2744 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD, is a 34-acre site located on Broad Creek which after joining South River, flows into the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, Maryland.  Camp Woodlands is home to the nationally acclaimed TeePee (Lamb’s Lodge), a 12-sided polygon with a central fireplace, which received an Award of Merit from the American Institute of Architects in 1954.

GSCM Urban Program & STEM Center

The GSCM Urban Program & STEM Center located at 4806 Seton Drive in BaltimoreCity, is the council's headquarters. It  also serves as the council's main program center and is the home of the council's main Girl Scout store, Juliette's Closet.

The facility underwent renovation in 2010 through funding provided by Northrop Grumman to provide space for programs and activities.  The GSCM STEM center is one of  only four Girl Scout STEM Centers across the country.
