Girl Scouts will learn about the problem of stormwater at the ToolBank while also learning about and discussing the problem of runoff pollution in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Girls will then take a tour of the ToolBank's facility to learn about how they work locally to mitigate the problem and divert runoff pollution into positive uses. Participants will build a tabletop rain garden and conduct multiple experiments to mimic the work of raingarden.

Girls who participate in this project will earn a ToolBank patch, ToolBank work gloves, and a reusable water bottle.

By attending this program, girls will earn 2 hours of volunteer/service hours.
