Celebrate the Flag! Observe the Baltimore Harbor while enjoying a lively narration transporting you to a time when Baltimore residents defended their homes, businesses and land from the British once more during the War of 1812. See Federal Hill, where Baltimoreans gathered to witness the fate of their city during the Battle of Baltimore in 1814. Fell’s Point and Canton shipbuilding, and Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine are only some of the sights on the water. Your boat will hover at the Key buoy where Francis Scott Key watched the “bombs bursting in air” and wrote our National Anthem while being held prisoner on a British ship.
Boarding begins at 11:15am. Cruise time: 11:30am - 12:30pm.
The Watermark cruise ticket booth is across the street between the Baltimore Visitors Center at 401 Light Street and the Maryland Science Center.
Pre-registration is required.
Option with additional fees through Fort McHenry: Visit Fort McHenry and participate a Flag Changing Ceremony. Recommended arrival time for flag changing is 9:15am. The ceremony begins at 10am. Kids are fee and adults $15 per person.
