GSCM Archives

Girl Scouts have a long and proud history in central Maryland. In order to preserve that history, the Archives Committee, was created, through the encouragement of GSUSA, in 1987.

The mission of the Archives Committee is to find and save history, educate volunteers and girls about the history, and serve as a resource for displays about the council's history.

The Archives contain:

  • Uniforms
  • Hats
  • Patches
  • Fabrics
  • Table cloths
  • Handbooks
  • Scrapbooks
  • Photos
  • Newspaper Clippings
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Newsletters
  • ...and so much more
