Help Support YOUR Troop and GSCM at the same time through Matching Gifts
Matching Gifts is a program instituted by many companies to thank their employees for the time they spend volunteering in their communities. Programs vary from company to company. Many companies will have a straight match for an employees’ donation to a non-profit organization. Other companies will have either instead of, or in addition to, a certain break out of a cash gift based on the number of hours volunteered.
Following is a list of companies, which we know of, that participate in a Matching Gift Program. To receive these Matching Gift monies please contact your Human Resources Department and ask for the paperwork for Matching Gifts. Many forms are also available on company employee networks on line. If your company is not listed ask your HR Department if your company participates.
Remember 25% of Matching Gift dollars are returned to your local Troop for you to use.
