Girl Scout Legislative Day
See your government in action! Spend a fun and educational day in Annapolis with Girl Scouts from all over Maryland. Girls will meet local legislators, tour government buildings, meet the Legislative Pages and tour the US Naval Academy. Lunch and participation patch are included.

Around the World Thinking Day
This annual Girl Scout holiday is an educational celebration for the whole family. Every year five countries are selected by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to be honored at the event. Discover new cultures, new foods, new dances and more!

Women’s Leadership Forum
Each year the Women’s Leadership Forum puts girls and a panel of successful women in the same room for an evening of insight and inspiration. The night includes a pre-forum reception, a one-on-one Q&A session between Girl Scouts and panelists, and a moderated panel discussion.

Big Outdoors Earth Day Extravaganza
At this annual Earth Day celebration, learn how to protect the environment, celebrate nature and wildlife! This is a fun filled day for kids young and old!

Distinguished Women Awards Reception
The Distinguished Women’s Award Reception is an annual philanthropic event honoring prominent women in Maryland. The event supports the efforts of Girl Scouts to develop strong girls in all sectors of society. This program gives girls the opportunity to observe and interact with creative and dynamic women leaders in central Maryland. Learn more about this event on our Distinguished Women Award page. Girl Scout Gold Award Banquet
This invitation-only banquet honors the stellar achievement of girls who have earned their Girl Scout Gold Award pin this year. The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest honor a girl can achieve in Girl Scouts. Visit our Awards pages to learn more about Girl Scout Awards

Girls Go STEM (Science & Technology Summit)
Expand your knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) though workshops and hands-on activities such as our new Science in the Kitchen Program, where you will learn about sugar and the process that it goes through to make different types of candy. Girls Go STEM also features science fair projects & awards, a panel of STEM professionals and career fair. This five-day event is offered in a three-session series.

Family Fun Festival
Enjoy and afternoon of family fun at Camp Conowingo’s Bell Manor with carnival style games and prizes, the rock wall, s’mores on a campfire, face painting, a hayride, archery, and so much more! Troops, families and friends of all ages are welcome! This event will run rain or shine.

Encampment
Come join us at the annual encampment at the beautiful rustic Camp Conowingo. Bring your own tent and pitch it in the great outdoors of the Bald Eagle field. Hone your camp skills and try your hand at a variety of activities. Girl Scout Juniors-Ambassadors are welcome! Think you are too old to participate in this event? Then come out and volunteer! It will be a fun-filled weekend you will always remember.

Harvest for the Hungry: Council Wide Take Action Project
Take Action against hunger and make a big difference in the life of a family who needs your help by collection food for the annual Harvest for the Hungry food drive. This program is run in coordination with The Maryland Food Bank and the Baltimore Area Boy Scout Council. This year marks 26 years that the Harvest for the Hungry Campaign has been committed to raising awareness in the community about hunger.
