| Distinguished Women Shadow Girl |
Each year five Girl Scouts are chosen to be a Shadow Girl to one of the five Distinguished Women's Award Reception honorees. Shadow Girls spend a day with an honoree for an up-close look at how she manages her time, staff and family/community responsibilities. It's a unique one-on-one, hands-on experience from which you can learn from women who are some of the best of their chosen professions. |

Counselor-in-Training
(CIT I & II) |
Ever wonder what it is like to be a Camp Conowingo staff member? This program is an introduction to the world seen through the eyes of a Camp Counselor and gives girls a chance to begin developing your skills as a future camp staff member. Learn to facilitate camp activities and work with younger campers. Earn a First Aid/CPR certification and your CIT I/II pins. |

Wrangler-in-training
(WIT I & II) |
If you love horses, want to improve your riding skills and learn how to teach horseback riding to younger girls this is the training for you. Work behind the scenes at the Camp Conowingo stables with our horse staff. Wranglers-in-Training must have previous horse experience in riding and horse care. You must have documented experience to apply. |

ACE of Space is GSCM's girl-led science club, for girls ages 11-17 who share an interest in space-related topics. Meet once a month to try hands-on projects, learn about science and get to know some of Maryland's leading professional women scientists, including some of NASA's top scientists and engineers. |
