Up All Night Sports Event

Come hang out all night long with your Girl Scout and other female friends (ages 9-17) at Supreme Sports in Columbia! Enjoy the gigantic pool, rock-climbing, group dance exercise activities, racquetball, and more!

Daisy Day – Session 1

This outdoor event will be centered around activities that will appeal to our youngest scout group the Delightful Daisy! Activities will include Daisy themed crafts, traditional GS games, songs, the art of camp skits and s’mores. The girls will leave with an appreciation for Girl Scout camp traditions and an appreciation of their special status as Daisy Scouts! Daisy Patch included. Two sessions to choose from.

Distinguished Women’s Award Celebration

The 35th Annual Distinguished Women’s Award Celebration will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Baltimore Country Club in Roland Park, Maryland.  4712 Club Rd., Baltimore, Maryland 21210.

Registration for this event is $100; the value of services that you are entitled with registration is $60.

April 25, 2015

Gold Journey Marathon

At this event, Senior and Ambassador Girls will be able to complete most of the prerequisite work for the Girl Scout Gold Award by working on the Journey requirements. Book, badge, patch, lunch and two snacks are included.

This event is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors, their leaders and chaperones.

Girl Scout Olympics

Join us for our first annual Girl Scout Olympics! There will be amazing “sports” for all to enjoy. Make your team flag and join the parade of troops, then compete for team and individual prizes. This is neither a drop-off nor tagalong event. Must register by April 15, 2015 in order to receive the patch.

Teen CPR/First Aid

Upon successful completion of class girls will receive two year certifications in CPR (Adult, Child & Infant) and First Aid. Girls are required to be registered with GSCM in order to take this course.

Big Outdoors Event

The Caitlin Dunbar Nature Center celebrates its 7th Anniversary at Camp Ilchester. This year’s event promises to be the biggest ever! Come see raptors from all over the world! Try archery, explore nature trails and climb a rock wall! It’s also a great opportunity for girls to showcase their Take Action Projects (because ideas are contagious). Refreshments and other merchandise will be available for purchase. Enjoy all of this and much, much more! Remember, nothing is bigger than The Big Outdoors Event.

STEM Role Model Training

This is a training session for leaders, volunteers, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professionals that are interested in volunteering with girls at STEM specific events.  Volunteers will learn about the basic principles involved in several of our different programs and how they can help inspire girls to become more interested in STEM fields for their future.  Volunteers will also be trained in the basics of STEM and how to guide girls through activities by actually participating in various projects themselves while at the training.
