Join in all of the fun with the Baysox 10th Annual Girl Scouts Sleepover! For our 10th anniversary, we’re going bigger and better than ever! Scouts will take part in a pre-game parade on the field (beginning at 6:15 pm) followed by a great baseball game featuring the Bowie Baysox (Class AA Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) as they take on the Akron Rubberducks (Class AA Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians). Following the game, leaders and parents that have pre-registered, will get their gear from their cars, outside food can be brought into the stadium for the sleepover portion of the evening. Then, we will set everything up for the sleepover on the field at Prince George’s Stadium! Watch a movie, play games, and camp out right on the outfield! Start your summer with a blast! Save the date for our Summer Kickoff Lock-In at Marley Station Mall. We’ll have food and fun; music and crafts; movies and shopping; badges too. School may still be in, but Summer starts here. This is not a drop off event.

Overnight Adventures combines the fun and excitement of exploring the great indoors of Port Discovery with hands-on, educational workshops! The program includes: free play in the Museum’s exhibits and program, creative arts and science based projects, evening snack and light breakfast, discount parking at Harbor Park Garage.

Girls will join the Living Classrooms Foundation for a two-day boating adventure on the tall ship Lady Maryland or the Skipjack Sigsbee from the Baltimore Inner Harbor to Camp Whippoorwill on the Magothy River and back to Baltimore. Cost includes dinner on Saturday, two meals on Sunday, overnight camping, a program patch and two days of boating.

Come learn some car care basics that you can use as you get ready to hit the road! You’ll see what’s going on under the hood and learn some common maintenance. You’ll gain important real-world knowledge from an experienced trainer and, as a bonus, will work towards the Senior Car Care badge! . Please come dressed to get dirty.

This Spring, attend one of our Spring into STEM Training Days to learn how GSCM can help you bring science, technology, engineering and math excitement to your girls. This multipart workshop will equip troop leaders, parents, or facilitators with the knowledge to confidently conduct STEM activities.
Each training day offers the following sessions:
– Girls Go Techbridge: STEM activities for girls in 4th-12th grade
– STEM Is Fun: STEM activities for girls K-3rd grade
– Role Models Matter: resources for recruiting, training, and preparing STEM professionals for role model experiences
1pm-3pm — Girls Go Techbridge and STEM Is Fun Session
3:30pm-4:30pm — Role Models Matter Session
Attend one, two, or all three sessions to learn about many of the STEM resources GSCM has to offer. These trainings are free and open to all, including girls 16 and up, Girl Scout Adult volunteers, parents, educators, and professionals.

What’s a more perfect way to spend the day than by enjoying a narrated tour of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor? See historic neighborhoods of Federal Hill, Fells Point, Little Italy and Canton, as well as the Baltimore Downtown Skyline, and the USS Constellation. See one of our nations’s largest ports with its working docks, shipping and other vessels in the maritime industry. You will also get a glimpse of Baltimore’s national landmark, Fort McHenry. You may bring a bagged lunch on board. This is neither a drop-off or tagalong event.
