Girl Scout Gold Award Workshop

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. Only open to girls in high school, this award comes with perks. As a Gold Award recipient you distinguish yourself in the college admissions process and may be eligible for college scholarships and exclusive summer job opportunities. College not for you? Gold Award recipients who enlist in the service often receive a higher rank because they have earned this prestigious award. Learn all about what it takes to plan a successful Gold Award Project. Questions about the award and its requirements will be answered here. This workshop is strongly suggested, but not required.

Regatta

The Regatta Boat Race is a chance for each girl to use their own wind power to race their trimaran boat along a track filled with water. Build your own boat using a kit (provided) and join the race! Boat kit and race instructions provided upon registration. Fee includes boat kit, patch, participation certificate, drink and a snack.

Encampment

Come join us at the annual encampment for this year’s theme Earth, Wind and Fire at the beautiful rustic Camp Conowingo. Spend your weekend learning how to master the natural elements and save the world with conservation and renewable energy. Bring your own tent and pitch it in the great outdoors of the Bald Eagle field. Bridging Girl Scout Brownies through Cadettes are welcome! There will be activities for all ages! Think you are too old to participate in this event? Then come out and volunteer! No matter what your part, camper, leader, volunteer, it is guaranteed to be a fun filled weekend you will always remember.

Adventures with Alice: A Visit to Wonderland

Journey down the rabbit hole and spend an evening with Alice in Girl Scout Wonderland! Paint the roses red, try flamingo croquet, and impress the Mad Hatter with your own style. Share your Wonderland SWAPS, take tea, snack on un-birthday cake and try other “eat me” or “drink me” treats! Games, and crafts for all ages. Dress as your favorite Wonderland or magic character if you wish but watch out for the Queen of Hearts! She may be out in the Dark Forest\ so follow your tour guide, the Cheshire Cat! Girl Scout Wonderland patch is included.

A Day in the Woods

Spend a fabulous day frolicking with friends as you prepare for future outdoor adventures, brush up on your Girl Scout camping skills, and learn new wilderness techniques! Participate in races, games, a scavenger hunt, singing, craft making, and, of course, a camp fire! Bring a bagged lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please wear a hat or bandanna and tie your hair back. All groups must provide enough adults to meet Activity Checkpoint requirements. This is not a drop off event.

Mad Hatter Iced Tea Party

Enjoy tea sandwiches, desserts and an assortment of iced teas in between playing croquet, making your own crazy hat, making an edible tea cup and participating in the Alice in Wonderland themed Scavenger Hunt. Great mommy and me event! Bell Manor patch included. Registration required (no walk-ins)
