Girls will explore the local sights of Savannah, Georgia, through a variety of stories, games, and crafts as they earn the “Historically Speaking Savannah, GA” patch. Snack and patch are included. Troops should be accompanied by leaders and individual girls by chaperones; this is neither a drop off nor tagalong event.

This leadership workshop will train girls in the basic aspects of becoming a Program Aide (responsibilities of leadership, Girl Scout basics, growth and development, the group process, etc.). Completion of Program Aide Training is required prior to taking the Outdoor Program Aide Trainings. Please bring a lunch!

Come join us for a “beary” good time! Have you ever been on a bear hunt? Daisies, Brownies, and girls who would like to become Girl Scouts are invited to come learn songs, play games and prepare a yummy snack for our picnic! First Lego League Robo Girls (Competitive Season)

Girls age 9 – 14 (Open to both registered and non-registered Girl Scouts)
Cost: $50 per girl
Our all-female Robo Girls Team will be having competitive season practices in which we help girls take the lead as the program robots, research technology advances, and become technology leaders of tomorrow. Come join us in learning all about how robotics and technology can come together to help battle “Nature’s Fury!”

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. Only open to girls in high school, this award comes with perks. As a Gold Award recipient you distinguish yourself in the college admissions process and may be eligible for college scholarships and exclusive summer job opportunities. College not for you? Gold Award recipients who enlist in the service often receive a higher rank because they have earned this prestigious award. Learn all about what it takes to plan a successful Gold Award Project. Questions about the award and its requirements will be answered here. This workshop is strongly suggested, but not required.

Come to camp and learn about ARCHERY! This two-hour program activity will concentrate on safety, shooting techniques and target practice. Volunteer instructors will lead each session. It doesn’t matter whether you hit the target or not—you can have a blast!

Join other Cadettes, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts and their friends and family for an evening filled with ridiculous mini-games and silly prizes too! Come ready for action as we will choose contestants from the audience!

Come in your pajamas and slippers and bring your sleeping bag for a fun-filled event! We will dance, make slumber pillows, build an edible campfire and create SWAPS, sing, “sleep” and wake up to a yummy pancake breakfast! All activities will be indoors! Bring a non GS girlfriend to come along.
