The Distinguished Women’s Award Reception is an annual philanthropic event honoring prominent women in Maryland.
The event supports the efforts of Girl Scouts to develop strong girls in all sectors of society. This program gives girls the opportunity to observe and interact with creative and dynamic women leaders in central Maryland. As an important part of the award process, each Honoree is interviewed and shadowed by a high school Girl Scout, who introduces them at the awards reception.
