NEW! Easy, Portable, Pocket Programs for Volunteers
Cookie Q Cards give volunteers an easy and portable resource for teaching life skills during the Cookie Activity. They’re packed with great ideas, games, tips and resources.

“REEL ACTION” Brainstorming
Learning to set team goals is an important leadership skill. Encourage girls to take a spin at goal-setting by using this “reel action” game that’s sure to be a hit.

Girls take turns spinning the “movie reel” and acting out their ideas, which can be recorded on the spinner. In the second round, girls brainstorm the details of each activity. For example, girls may build on the idea of camping to come up with “in the mountains” or “horseback riding” along with “trail building.”

As the ideas start spinning, encourage girls to consider what they especially want to learn or take away from the experiences they plan.
