Girl Scout Cookie Program activity Dare to Share!
The Girl Scouts of the USA is looking for creative ways to spread the word that they have the most successful entrepreneurial activity for girls in grades 1 – 12. There is a special Cookie Challenge for grades 1 – 5 and another for grades 6- 12.
- Girls in grades 1-5 can choose a photo or create a poster to submit in one of or more of these categories – Discover – Connect – Take Action. In this girl led program activity, they will design and create their submission and have the possibility of being one of 9 national winners.
- Girls in grades 6 –12 can share their “best practices” of cookie sales by documenting their successes in picture and with a story. In this program activity, girls work together to submit a “Best Practice” and have the possibility of being one of 10 winners. The top 3 will be Consultants to GSUSA for new cookie programs.
Deadline for submissions to GSCM is March 14, 2008. Top selling girls attending the Ice Cream Social and the Top Troop Celebration will select the finalists that will be submitted to GSUSA for the national judging. Each of the teams whose submission is selected to go to GSUSA will receive a special patch. Finalists will have their submission posted.
