Green Carpet Event:

Who: Local chefs used our delicious Girl Scout cookies to create unique food items. Joining our chefs in creating cookie-inspired foodstuffs was Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes creating a cake specifically for the Green Carpet Event!

Why: The evening highlighted the girl-centered benefits of the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program by honoring the top selling "pre-order" girls from each of the five counties in central Maryland and from Baltimore City. These seven girls were treated as "Cookie Stars" at this event, complete with a ride in a limousine! The evening also spotlighted teens in our outreach programs who work with at-risk youth in our communities.

Our Local Stars

Duff Goldman, Baltimore's own local and national celebrity, was at the Green Carpet Event to help Make it a Hit! He brought many gourmet cakes featuring delicious Girl Scout Cookies. Duff Goldman is baker and owner of Charm City Cakes and his famous cakes are featured on the television show Ace of Cakes. We are delighted that Mr. Goldman provided such eye-appealing and delicious treats for our top selling "pre-order girls" and their guests at the Girl Scouts Green Carpet Event.
