Girl Scouts of Central Maryland’s summer resident camp offers girls the chance to experience the outdoors in a safe and caring community, to explore the world around them and to thrive in an environment where each girl will build courage, confidence and character!

Camp Conowingo is a Girl Scout Camp housed on 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. Facilities are rustic and include Caitlin Dunbar Nature Center, Conowingo Creek and small pond, tennis/all-purpose court, nature trails, swimming pool, horse stables, and ropes courses. Camp Conowingo offers a wide variety of camp options that include themed specialty activities as well as traditional crafts, songs and campfires. As a Girl Scout Camp, we feature unique leadership opportunities where girls build valuable life skills that help them become leaders of tomorrow. Staff provide girls with a rich experience away from home. While teaching and enhancing self-reliance and self-confidence, staff work with girls to gain an appreciation of the environment and learn to live and work together with people who are different from them in a friendly, fun and safe setting.
