| Swing
into Cookie Training
This year's Troop/Group Goal Poster
contains more training and brainstorming games than ever! Troops/Groups
will use the Cookie Discs (CDs) to help reinforce cookie knowledge,
safety rules and selling tips. Then they can use the colorful cookie
discs for a variety of booth display ideas like signs, mobiles or table
centerpieces. Girls will certainly learn to be creative, the discs can
be reproduced, laminated, glued to cardboard or poster board and even
paper plates! What a wonderful resource for girls and adults! |

Complete game
instructions are printed on the back of the "Jump, Jive &
Swing" Goal Poster. |
|
Here are
four game ideas to get Troops/Groups "Swinging Into
Action!"
|
|
|

|
Game 1:
Cookie Twister
Here's a twist on the familiar Girl Scout knot game that ties cookie
knowledge to girl success. Play this game so that cookie ingredients won't
tangle you up in knots!
|
|
Game 2:
Cookie Crossing
Reinforce cookie safety rules and get
girls swinging together to reach troop/group goals safely! Girls play with
eight Cookie Discs as stepping stones. Each girl recites a safety rule and
places a stepping stone on the floor. The game continues until all safety
rules have been recited and a safe path of stones has been formed for the
girls to cross.
|

|
|

|
Game 3:
Cookie Goal-Go-Round
Girls can play "Cookie
Goal-Go-Round" after their troop/group has set its goals. This memory
game will help girls practice saying and sharing their troop/group goals
with others. The discs illustrates the ideas the girls created and
selected as their primary cookie goal(s), and then the girls add detail to
each one of the goals.
|
Game 4:
Cookie Concentration
Reproduce one set of Cookie
Discs and play
a matching game with girls to reinforce cookie identification, package color
recognition and cookie knowledge.. |
