Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls-all girls, where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. Individuals and corporations can help girls build their character and life-skills by supporting Girl Scouts of Central Maryland in a variety of ways: through the Juliette Low Society, as a Girl Scout Alumnae, or through the 21st Century Endowment.

In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives--like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. The Distinguished Women's Award Reception honors five women who exemplify the ideals to which every Girl Scout aspires AND honors the five girls that are chosen to shadow these exemplary women. In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together.  Through the many enriching experiences provided by Girl Scouting, they grow courageous and strong. As a family member, group leader, or community volunteer you can help girls become courageous and strong through our annual giving campaign, SHARE. Check out our new SHARE patches! With a $25 donation you receive the first part of the patch.
